Please contact us early in your planning process. Major events require application submissions a minimum six weeks in advance of the event date.

Paper forms


Please complete and email a scanned copy or deliver it in person to 101 RancheHouse Road.

Online forms

Provide your information and click submit — we'll get in touch with you to finalize details and confirm:
  • Fun Van Request
  • Equipment Usage Form (coming soon)
  • Digital Sign request (required at least two weeks in advance; max. six months in advance). This service is free, but subject to availability

Reserve a fire pit


To reserve a fire pit at the Historic Cochrane Ranche Site or Mitford Park, use our online Fire Pit Reservation Request form.

  • Please note: Toilet facilities in Mitford Park and the Cochrane Historic Ranche Site are available from the May long weekend until the last weekend in September. They are equipped with automatic locking devices that open at 7am and close at 9pm

Upcoming event road closures

A street use permit has been issued to CEAC/Cochrane Farmers' Market from 3:30-10pm on the following days:
  • June 15
  • July 20
  • August 17
  • September 14
This event uses the large closure format.

Upcoming event road traffic disruption


Saturday July 8, 10 am
A brief "viking parade" will make its way from the Visitor Information Centre to the Legacy Statue on Historic Main Street with an RCMP escort. There is no road closure planned.

Sunday July 23rd 10 am
The Freedom of the Town parade will make its way from the Legion to River Ave via Historic Main Street with an RCMP escort. There is no road closure planned.
