Our Recreation & Culture Assistant will help you navigate the Town procedures and regulations which apply to public festivals and events, including the use of public parks, roads and venues. Please contact us at 402-851-2535 or rec.culture@cochrane.ca

Please contact us early in your planning process. Major events require application submissions a minimum six weeks in advance of the event date.
  
Submit the completed form by emailing a scanned copy to rec.culture@cochrane.ca, or delivering it in person to 101 RancheHouse Road. You will be contacted when we receive your request.

To have your event promoted on the Town's digital signs, complete this online form at least two weeks in advance but not more than six months in advance. This service is free, but subject to availability. 

Reserve a fire pit

To reserve a fire pit at the Historic Cochrane Ranche Site or Mitford Park, please use our online form:

    *Toilet facilities in Mitford Park and the Cochrane Historic Ranche Site are available from the May long weekend until the last weekend in September.  They are equipped with an automatic locking devices that open at 9 AM and close at 9 PM.

Upcoming event road closures


A permit has been issued to the Cochrane Light Up Parade Committee to close a portion of Historic Downtown Main street for an event.
Date: December 10, 2016
Time: 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Location: This event will follow the Large Closure format which can be viewed here.
