The Town of Cochrane is launching a new eServices portal to streamline account interactions: animal licences, business licences, utility bills, accounts receivable, tax roll, assessment information and more.

Please note:

You will be required to create a new username and password the first time you log in to the new system. Please have one piece of Town identifying information, such as your latest utility bill or statement for another Town account. You may also need to update your bookmarks.

Criminal record check payment
Beginning March 15, 2017 both steps of the volunteer criminal record check and vulnerable sector record check process take place at the RCMP detachment.


Step 1: Go to the RCMP detachment (359 First St E) 
Criminal record check intake hours: 9am-3pm, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday ONLY
What you need to bring with you: 
• two pieces of identification, one of which must be government-issued photo ID 
• volunteer organization request letter (volunteers only)

Step 2: Pay the fee for your criminal record check (see fees below)

Results available two weeks after requests are submitted; return to the RCMP detachment to collect your completed check (Mon-Fri, 8:30am-4:30pm).

• Volunteers (incl. students on unpaid practicum): $10 per check (ask your volunteer organization or school for a request letter)
• Paid positions/record suspensions: $35 per check

Terms & Conditions

All payments for eServices are in Canadian currency. Tax certificates are available for immediate download once payment has been processed. Animal Licences are mailed out within five business days once the payment has been processed. When completing an order, a printable receipt is displayed on screen to signify that the payment has processed properly. The Town of Cochrane currently accepts Visa and MasterCard for credit card processing transactions.

Return & Refund Policy

If you experience a problem during the processing of an online transaction or wish to request a refund to be processed, please contact the Town of Cochrane at 403-851-2500 or via email to speak to a representative immediately. We will arrange for the appropriate replacement of funds and/or service.
