Council directed Administration to fund the retroactive amounts from a combination of operating reserves and the 2016 fire operating budget. The amount for 2017 will be included in the 2017 operating budget scheduled to come to Council at the end of October.

Town and Fire Association representatives met a number of times since May 2014 and completed one day of mediation in August.
