COMMUNITY CELEBRATES AND SUPPORTS ROCK THE WAVES

Digital sign

Celebrations were a huge success at Spray Lake Sawmills Family Sports Centre this weekend.

The community showed their support for Rock the Waves, contributing nearly $2,000 through Patsy's Place bbq, Jugo Juice smoothies and the dunk tank.

Over 3,000 people attended the two-day community celebration and open  house and enjoyed a free swim at the Jayman BUILT Aquatic Centre, tours  and activities in the Fireside of Cochrane Fitness Centre, drop-in  classes, sports demos activities inside and outside the facility.

The dunk tank was a popular feature, attracting participants from  across the community including the mayor, members of Council, local  media and business owners, and RCMP and Fire staff; everyone got dunked a  number of times.

The Jayman BUILT Aquatic Centre welcomed an estimated 20,000 visitors in August in total.
