    Doors Open Cochrane is free, special access to local businesses not normally open to the public.

    For one weekend only, organizations in all areas of town open their doors – free of charge – to the public and provide special tours and behind-the-scenes experiences.

    Doors Open is a well-established and highly successful international concept that allows people free access to buildings in order to create enthusiasm for heritage and contemporary architecture, and increase the appreciation of historic and culturally significant places and spaces.

  1. Senior's Week: Cochrane Historical Museum Self-Guided Tour

    June 10, 2017, 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM @ Cochrane Ranche Historic Site

    Cochrane Historical & Archival Preservation Society (CHAPS) has preserved and restored the first home that was built to be used as a hospital in Cochrane. The home was built in 1909 by Thomas Davies for his family, the resident doctor at the time. Celebrate Seniors’ Week and take a self-guided tour of the building and its’ artifacts, which is now the Cochrane Historical Museum, located at the Cochrane Ranche Provincial Park.
