Missed Collection?

Black, blue and green carts are collected on your scheduled collection days between 7am and 7pm.  In order for your cart to be collected it must;

  1. be rolled out by 7am;
  2. have 1 metre perimeter of space around each;
  3. have the lid closed; and
  4. be free of contamination (items in the wrong cart).

If your cart met all requirements but was not collected please contact us with your name, address, phone number and colour of cart missed.  We will call you back by the next business day.

Blue, Black, and Green Collection Tag

Receiving this tag on your blue cart means there was something in the recycling cart that shouldn't be or something wasn't prepared properly.  Check your tag for specific details.  If your cart received a tag and was was still emptied, it means the contamination was minimal and we trust the household to correct it moving forward.  If the cart was tagged and not collected, it means the contamination was sufficient enough to jeopardize the quality of the truck load and needs to be corrected before the cart is tipped on the next scheduled collection day.  Leaving the tag stapled around the cart handle allows the operator to communicate with the occupants in a safe, educational way.

Cul-de-sac Collection Tag

Cart wheels must be against the curb, with a one-metre perimeter of space around each cart with the lid closed to be collected.  To safely collect carts, parallel parking in cul-de-sacs is required.  Carts blocked by vehicles will not be collected and residents will have to wait until their next scheduled collection day.  If parking on your street or alley prevents collection please contact Municipal Enforcement to report parking infractions.
