COLT is Cochrane's local on-demand transit that allows residents access to various communities throughout Cochrane.
When residents want to ride with COLT they can use the website, mobile app or call COLT directly to request a bus at a specific stop at a specific day and time (during service hours). Buses can be requested up to a week in advance, or just minutes in advance (pending availability).
The Town of Cochrane, in partnership with SOUTHLAND Transportation launched a transit service integration of COLT with an enhanced On-It regional service between Cochrane and Calgary.
This innovative public-private partnership will increase local transit capacity and create a robust regional transit schedule that meets the needs of the community. The regional service offers an easy and affordable option for people travelling between Cochrane and Calgary for work, school, shopping, and social activities.
