Payment Methods

The Town of Cochrane offers a variety of payment methods for property taxes (CREDIT CARDS & INTERAC E-TRANSFERS ARE NOT ACCEPTED).

Tax Installment Payment Plan (TIPP)

Break up your bill with TIPP. Available to home and business owners, TIPP offers an opportunity to build your tax payments into a budget plan. An automatic debit will be made from a personal account on the 15th day of each month. When you are a participant in the payment plan, you are not required to make an annual payment as your taxes are paid by monthly installments. Your installments will be adjusted on an annual basis to reflect any tax changes for the current year.

Enroll in TIPP

Bank or Credit Union

The Town of Cochrane is registered with all major banks and credit unions. Pay in person or through your online or telephone banking. Use your roll number for the account number. Payments cannot be made through automated banking machines.

Check with your financial institution's policies regarding the effective date of payment to avoid a late payment penalty.

Drop Box Payments

With this option, payments can be made at any time. There are two drop box locations for your convenience:

  • FCSS Office
    209 Second Ave West
  • RancheHouse
    101 RancheHouse Road
