Meeting Room POLICY

Cochrane Family & Community Support Services strives to support both the development and sustainability of community groups through the provision of affordable, accessible, community-meeting space.

Access to Meeting Rooms

As a community service, the FCSS Meeting Rooms (Stable & Back 40) will be made available to non-profit organizations and community groups.

Priority for the use of the Meeting Rooms is given to FCSS and FCSS partnered meetings, programs or events.

When these needs have been met, FCSS will accommodate requests from non-profit organizations and groups. Rooms can be booked:
• After January 1 (for January - May)
• After June 1 (for June - August)
• After September 1 (for September - December)

FCSS has the ability to pre-empt organizations/groups, with sufficient advance notice (two (2) days where possible) when emergencies arise or when unforeseen FCSS requirements for meeting rooms arise.

All community organizations/groups utilizing FCSS Meeting Rooms must sign a contract annually with FCSS and receive an orientation prior to use.
