The Ride COLT app is ready to download and test drive.
COLT buses will be on the road in Cochrane starting October 7, but the app is ready today to download and explore. Everyone can use the app to create a profile, check for stops near them and get used to the user interface.

Rides can be booked starting Sunday night. COLT is free to ride until the end of the year.
COLT: Cochrane On-Demand Local Transit is Cochrane’s bold new transit system, designed specifically for our community. COLT uses technology to provide responsive on-demand service — where and when Cochranites want it.
Local transit in Cochrane was approved in 2018 as part of the 2019-2021 budget. The system was developed as an on-demand service after extensive community consultation. Transit riders will request a bus from one designated stop to another designated stop in Town.
The first few months of COLT are a pilot to gather ride data and make adjustments to improve the service.
Buses in Cochrane will serve local destinations initially, but plans are underway to add regional destinations like Crowfoot LRT station and post-secondary institutions in Calgary.
The app can be downloaded from the App Store or Google Play or by following the links from ridecolt.ca.
