COCHRANE COMMUNITY CLEAN UP TAKING PLACE MAY 27

CLEAN UP COCHRANE (1)

(Cochrane, AB) – Cochrane is encouraging community members to keep our community beautiful and Clean Up Cochrane. On May 27 from 10am-1pm, participants are invited to join the family-friendly clean up event.

Cochranites can participate at any of the 19 clean up locations throughout Cochrane. Each site will be equipped with garbage bags and a labelled drop off area for all garbage collection. Interested participants are responsible for bringing their own gloves and any other clean up equipment necessary. Once the event is complete, Town of Cochrane staff will pick up and remove all collected garbage.

“Clean Up Cochrane is an opportunity for us as a community to be more environmentally conscious, create active community members that care and, ultimately, build a better Cochrane,” says Mitchell Hamm, Community Services Director, Town of Cochrane. “Many hands make light work and when we get together incredible things can be accomplished.”

To ensure proper equipment is available, community groups with multiple participants are asked to contact operations@cochrane.ca and confirm group size and site location.
