(Cochrane, AB) – The Town of Cochrane reminds all Cochrane property owners that the due date for property taxes is June 30. A seven per cent penalty on any outstanding 2023 amounts will be charged to accounts on July 1, with further penalties later in the year. Property tax bills cannot be appealed.
Property owners can review their property tax bill for their current balance and payment options. Property owners signed up for the Tax Installment Payment Plan (TIPP) program do not need to submit additional payment – your installments will be updated to reflect your property tax bill.
Property owners who have purchased a property in the last two months are asked to email the taxation department to obtain up-to-date information on their tax accounts, as the Town of Cochrane may not have a record of their title transfer due to processing delays at Alberta Land Titles. Taxes are still due in full by June 30.
