How does the Town of Cochrane support the e-scooter/bike program?

The Town of Cochrane acts as a partner with Roll Scooters through a provincial exemption for e-scooter operations. The Town is running the pilot program to find out if this is a program residents would like and use, and Roll Scooters is piloting our town as well, to test our market demand and viability.

The pilot over two-and-a-half years will be at no cost to the Town, and a portion of the revenue from each trip donated to the Town to the Town for micro-mobility related projects, such as building and maintaining protected bike lanes.
