Come celebrate Mental Health Awareness Week with us!
Collectively and individually, we have multiple layers and stories that make us who we are and while each year 1 in 5 Canadians experiences a mental illness or mental health issue, 5 in 5 of us - that's all people - have mental health.
We all have different, yet equally valuable stories which can be used to share one key message: universal mental health care is important and needed now!
Visit our webpage for details on what's happening around Cochrane!
We help build a healthy community and healthy brains, by supporting families with children (birth to 18), through programs and events:
Our services are strength based, trauma informed, inclusive, supportive, and respectful, with a focus on building capacity. Services are provided in partnership with the Town of Cochrane, FCSS, Children’s Cottage, and BGC for Cochrane & Area.
Brain health (including risk for physical and mental illness) is determined by more than just our genes. Learn how early experiences get built into our brains and bodies.
