Lemonade for Wishes

Lemonade for Wishes is an event created by Make-A-Wish Canada to quench some summer thirst and get our communities fundraising for a great cause through a good old-fashioned lemonade stand! Kids, families and even businesses can participate. Set up a stand anytime between June 1-September 30 and sell a refreshing glass of lemonade for a donation to Make-A-Wish. Register your stand and see full event details at makeawish.ca/lemonadeforwishesab. Lemonade stand donations raised go toward helping transform the lives of children with critical illnesses.

Seniors Week Activities! (June 6-12)

Prenatal Health Group (Virtual)

Join us for an online casual cafe, where you can meet with an Alberta Health Services childbirth educator and connect with other parents on the topics of pregnancy, nutrition, labour and birth, breastfeeding and feeding your baby, infant sleep, newborn care, the transition to parenthood and early parenting Register: www.cochrane.ca/programguide Zoom link and password will be sent to registered participants day before session. Please note: AHS still has restrictions in place to protect Alberta's most vulnerable from COVID-19. In -person prenatal groups will return when AHS restrictions are fully lifted. Until then we will continue to offer interactive group classes that you can experience from the comfort of your own home.

Preschool Playtime (Drop-in)

Come play and explore the interactive activities to promote your child's cognitive, social/emotional, and physical development. This is a great opportunity for your preschooler to develop preschool and kindergarten readiness skills. Ages 3-5/parented

Circle of Security (in-person)

Thu, June 9,23 & 30; July 7,14 & 21. No Session June 16th. At times all parents feel lost or without a clue about what our child might need from us. Imagine what it might fell like if you were able to make sense of what your child was really asking from you. The circle of Security Parenting program is an 7 week session that is based on decades of research about how secure parent-child relationships can be supported and strengthened.
