COVID-19 RESPONSE
Council committees have begun meeting regularly, either virtually or in-person. Please check the agenda for details. To watch virtual meetings, please go to the committee webpage and click on the link.
For more information on the Town’s response, please check cochrane.ca/COVID-19.
Cochrane has several committees of Council which represent various civic interests. The Town recruits public-at-large (PAL) volunteers throughout the year, as vacancies become available. Vacancies are advertised in Municipal Matters.
If you live in Cochrane and you’d like to take an active part in decisions that affect the community, apply to be a PAL volunteer using the application form below. To be considered, candidates must be a Town resident and a minimum of 18 years of age, unless otherwise specified in the Terms of Reference.
Apply to be on a Council board or committee. - There will be a link that will take you to a fillable form when positions are vacant.
Are you a resident of Cochrane interested in joining a committee or task force but feel you may have additional challenges to participate (transportation, child care, language, accommodations etc)? We may be able to help! Please contact the Cochrane Resource Centre at 403-851-2255 to explore options when applying.
