Cochrane, AB — One of the many great things about Cochrane is the hundreds of passionate volunteers and the dozens of non-profit, community organizations that make a huge contribution to the quality of life in Cochrane.
Starting this Wednesday, the Town of Cochrane, in collaboration with Cochrane Family & Community Support Services (FCSS), is rolling out a series of videos spotlighting a number of local non-profit, community organizations. These videos provide a great insight into the work of the numerous not-for-profit organizations that exist in Cochrane.
“The series depicts the impact of people helping people, and highlights the critical work carried out by non-profit community organizations,” says Kim Krawec, Manager, Cochrane Family & Community Support Services (FCSS). “The seed for this initiative came from discussions held during the most challenging days of the pandemic. Local community non-profits touch the lives of the entire community, but often their work is behind the scenes and not fully understood.”
The videos will be posted to the Town’s Youtube channel, and the link shared on its Facebook page and website.
