Fire Prevention Week

Cochrane Fire Services, in partnership with the official sponsor—the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA)—is joining forces for Fire Prevention Week 2025. This year’s campaign theme is “Charge into Safety.”

Fire Prevention Programs

  • Assistance with school fire drills 
  • Assistance with preparing home escape plans
  • Assistance with commercial business emergency plans
  • Assistance and information on emergency management in the event of a disaster
  • Station hall tours
  • Parade and public event appearances

Fire Apparatus Trading Cards

Each card features a specific fire apparatus. In addition, a QR code is included on each card that when scanned will open a video for the apparatus. These videos include fire safety messages, tours of the truck and equipment and narration by Cochrane firefighters.

Fire Services Museum

Tour an antique fire engine in the fire services museum. The museum can be visited during regular office hours, Mon-Fri 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m..
